Corinthians Steamrollers gets its 16th straight victory to reach the final of FEFASP championship

In a great event in Cotia (Metropolitan area of São Paulo) with more than 7,000 attendees,  Corinthians Steamrollers defeated Avaré Mustangs by 25 - 15 to reach the final of Super Copa São Paulo of Football, organized by FEFASP (Federação de Futebol Americano de São Paulo).

It was the fourth victory in four games on this competition and the 16th since May of 2011. In this period, Corinthians won the State Championship of São Paulo and the third edition of Torneio Touchdown (against teams from all over Brazil).

In the game disputed yesterday (Sunday, June 10th), Corinthians had a tough game in the first period, which ended on a tie of 13 points. In the second period, the running game of the quarterback Casey Frost and the running backs Jeff Almeida and Pedro Passarella lead the Steamrollers to the final score: 25 – 15.

In the next Sunday (June 17th), on the same venue, Corinthians Steamrollers will face Ribeirão Preto Challengers. The country boys defeated the favorites Palmeiras Locomotives, another representative of a giant soccer club, preventing a clash of soccer titans for the title.
