Carey Mulligan shines on "An Education"

Portraited on a in between era, were honor would be replaced by how much money you can get and housewives for bright and feminist woman, "An Education" is a movie very well written, with great lines and outstanding acting performances.

As an excellent student on a verge to take her exams to go to Oxford at the 50's England, Carey Mullingan shows us a mature, bold and hypnotising acting that attracts the camera and the eyes of the audience anywhere she is on the screen. She just makes her contrapart smaller and smaller as the time passes by. Peter Sarsgaard, that struggled with his fake british accent and only asset would be that we know, not even deep inside and since the beggining, that he will bring trouble to the girl.

Another great performance is brought by Carey Mullingan's father caracter, Alfred Molina, who is in fact british and could leave the latino type on american productions to deliver a perfect middle class working dad that wants her daughter protected from harm and difficulties of life.

Despite i havent seen yet "The Blind Side" with Sandra Bullock, the Oscar of best actress would be well deserved for this remarkable young lady.
